At a naming ceremony the parents and others chosen can pledge their commitment to help the child by mentoring and observing the child's development and learning.

When a child has good support from their parents and extended family they have a better opportunity to grow into a more rounded adult.

Naming ceremonies can be small and intimate or very elaborate gatherings.  

If you have an older child or children, who missed out on a naming ceremony we can create a joint ceremony which includes them.  If you have other children/blended family I can develop a ceremony to include these children.  

I have performed these types of ceremonies for several families. The inclusion of the older children has really made them feel special.
